In memory of
Dennis Scott Brumbach
Dennis Scott Brumbach, 63, passed peacefully into the Lord's arms May 3, 2019, after fighting a courageous battle against cancer. Skeet was a graduate of Cedar Cliff High School. He was a highway foreman for the New Cumberland Highway Department in New Cumberland, PA. He enjoyed his home in the woods near Dover, PA. The most important thing to Skeet were his friends and family. He was his best self as a Dad and a Pappy. He enjoyed hunting, camping, canoeing, playing cards, being outside, road trips with his brothers and dad, and visits to local social establishments. Skeet would do anything for anyone, and was always making things, working with his hands, and hanging out in his garage. The garage was also his hiding place from all the women in his life. He also kept a vigilant eye out for speeders and dumpers in the neighborhood aboard his beloved four wheeler. Skeet had a great sense of humor, and was loved by everyone that had the good fortune of knowing him. Skeet was preceded in death by his mother, Jean (Barlet) Brumbach. He is survived by his wife, Linda, and his cherished daughters: Brianna Gill and her husband, Nolan; Kristen Lawson and her husband, Bradley; and Alyssa Feaser and her husband, Joshua. There were no more important little people to Skeet than his grandchildren: Natalie, Caleb, Layla and Jude. He is also survived by his twin brother, Dale, and Dale's fiancee, Annette; his big brother, Mike, and Mike's wife, Joan; his father, the patriarch of the Brumbach clan, Richard Brumbach; many nieces and nephews and all of their families; and all of his friends that were like family to him. A memorial celebration of our life with Skeet will be held at the West Shore Elks, Lodge #2257, 108 N. St. John's Church Road, Camp Hill, PA, on May 18 at 11:30 AM. Please dress comfortably-jeans and camo will make Skeet smile in Heaven. Stone & Murray Funeral Home, New Cumberland is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 42040, Oklahoma City, OK 73123. A special heartfelt thanks is expressed to the physicians and nursing staff for their compassionate care of Dennis at West Shore Hospital, Harrisburg Hospital, and their outpatient services. www.pennlive.com/obits
