In memory of
Ruth Joan (Rickabaugh) Back
Ruth Joan (Rickabaugh) Back aka: Mom-mom to my grandchildren or Grandma Ruth to my Sunday school children Jesus Loves Me, this I know...for he has called me home. My days here on earth are over. For those of you who know the Lord: know that earth was just my temporary home. After a long battle with cancer I passed away on Tuesday, May 07, 2019 only a month before I turned 85 years old. I was married to Johnny JB Back for over 50 years, but sadly he passed away before me, along with my brother Donald Rickabaugh and my grandson Gregory Whale, Jr. I am survived by my five children, Samuel Back and wife Miriam, Judith Yingling and husband Michael, Esther Back, Susanna Back and Christina Kruppenbach and husband Johnny, 8 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and my sister Mary Fishel, and brothers Wilmer & Frank Guest and my best friend, Penny Carper. I graduated from William Penn High School and attended the Philadelphia Bible Institute. If you don't know the Lord, seek him...for he is coming back someday for each and every one of us. Be ready, for none of us know the day or hour that he will come. I hope to see all of you someday, when God welcomes you into his kingdom to live forever and ever. God Loves YOU. My celebration of life with a viewing will be held at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, May 14th at First Assembly of God Church, located at 4100 North Progress Avenue, Harrisburg, PA followed by a service at 11 A.M. Although my soul is with Jesus, my burial will follow at the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, Harrisburg, is handling arrangements. Those wishing to share memories and condolences with the family are invited to visit BitnerCares.com . In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Assembly of God ear- marked for the children's Sunday school class that I taught for over 15 years. Spreading the word of the Lord is one of the greatest gifts you could give to me.

This extraordinary mixed flower bouquet delivers your sympathy with a beauty and faith that reflects the love and loss you feel. The asymmetrical bouquet is hand-arranged by a local FTD artisan florist to make a reverent and respectful setting for an urn of the deceased's cremated remains. Around an angel sculpted of artist's resin are pink roses, carnations, Stargazer lilies, statice and lush greens in a tabletop container that's not visible when set on a flat surface. It makes a fitting focal point for a wake or funeral service. Standard bouquet is approximately 11"H x 20"W.
