Janet (Welch) Lindsey, 78, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh. Janet was born in Rockport on July 3, 1940 to the late Jimmie Ray and Eunice (Wooldridge) Welch. Janet had been a nurse for many years after attending the Owensboro School of nursing. Janet loved to garden and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jroy Welch; step-granddaughters, Brandy Eggers and Amy Schlageter. Janet is survived by her son, Greg Rudisill and his wife, Sharon, of Evansville; daughters, Krinda Wetzel and her husband, Wayne, of Rockport; Krista Clark and her husband, Donald, of Richland; Jami Stephens and her husband, Matt, of Florida; grandchildren, Tia Harrison, Kameron Cron, Kerrik Cron, Andrew Clark, Mindi Clark, Rylan Stephens, Ashtyn Stephens; great grandchildren, Lexi Harrison, Emmalie Harrison, Riley Harrison, Brenden Moore, Layla Bartlett, Kaje Cron, Whitlee Cron, Kadence Cron, Kali Cron. Services will be held at 4 P.M. on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at Boultinghouse Funeral Home in Rockport. Visitation will be held from 12 P.M. until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association or the Susan G Komen for the Cure. Expressions of sympathy may be left for the family at www.boultinghousefuneralhome.com.
