In memory of
William Stulpin Jr.
William Christian "Chris" Stulpin, Jr. of Carversville, Bucks County, PA, formerly of Newport, passed away at home on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the age of 52, of a heart attack. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. He was born on December 30, 1966 in Philadelphia to William C. Stulpin and Anne (Wertz) Hartzell. Chris graduated from Newport High School in 1985. He went on to graduate from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Business School in 2003 with a Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Finance. Initially a bank analyst for Cohen and Company in Philadelphia, Chris later specialized in the Asian banking sector for D. A. Davidson in Oregon. Missing the beaches of the east, he and his family returned to the Pennsylvania area where he accepted a position with Raymond James in New York. Chris had a real zest for life and a keen sense of humor. He had a passion for cooking, gardening, and oysters. His love of nature took him to the summit of Mount Hood and the Half Dome of Yosemite. He also enjoyed summers in Avalon, NJ. Chris' greatest loves were his wife, Michele, of 19 years, and their 14-year-old son, Keeler, whom he adored. Suzee, his dog, was his constant companion. He is survived by his wife Michele (Keeler) Stulpin and son Keeler Christian Stulpin of Carversville, PA; mother Anne (Wertz) Hartzell (Wayne) of Newport, PA and father William Christian Stulpin of Lansdowne, PA; two sisters, Pamela Stulpin of Sewell, NJ, and Cindy Wright (Brad) of Bozeman, MT; six nieces and nephews: Aleksandr Fritz, Anna Wright, Andrei Fritz, Lily Wright, Jacquin Cunningham and Kelsey Cunningham; and four step brothers, Wayne, Dave, Gregg and Eric Hartzell. A celebration of Chris' life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Donations in memory of Chris can be made to the Penn Foundation, 807 Lawn Ave, Sellersville, PA 18960, or via pennfoundation.org .
