Dorothy Doris (Binkley) Moffett Evansville, Ind. Dorothy Doris (Binkley) Moffett, 88, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at the Evansville Protestant Home. Dorothy was born in Livingston County, Kentucky on May 20, 1930 to the late James Corbett and Sally (Ramage) Binkley. Along with being a long time member of both the McCutchanville Fire Department and McCutchanville Community Church, she also worked as the secretary at both for many years. Dorothy loved her family dearly and will be missed by all who knew her. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Patricia Bennett (Alben) of Salem, KY; son, Donald Moffett (Trudy) of Evansville, IN; sisters, Mary Lou Giradot of Colorado and Vanda Engler of Burna, KY; grandchildren, Lance, Rene and Anthony; and by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Roger Moffett in 2017; her parents; and by her siblings, Opal, Helen, Junior, Don and Linda. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Pastor Greg Davis officiating. Burial will follow at McCutchanville Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Browning Funeral Home and again from 10:00 AM until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to McCutchanville Community Church, 9505 Petersburg Rd., Evansville, IN 47725 or to McCutchanville Fire Department Station 5, 9219 Petersburg Rd., Evansville, IN 47725.
