Beverly Emery Palm Springs - Beverly Emery, 86, of Palm Springs passed away Sunday, February 3. Bev was born in Burlington, Iowa, on November 2, 1932. She moved to California with her family as a teen. She married Vern Emery in 1951 and raised 3 daughters. She later returned to the mid-west for approximately 20 years, but has been a resident of Palm Springs since 2006. She is survived by her brother, Jimmy Taylor, and two of her daughters, Pam Sweat and Robin McCormick. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Albert. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 2 great-granddaughters. A memorial service will be held at noon on Saturday, February 9 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Cathedral City.
