RODNEY SCOTT FOWLER April 2, 1942January 23, 2019 Born in Pueblo, Colorado, to Archie and Hettye Fowler, Scott loved airplanes and the military. He got his pilot license at 13 and Armature Radio License (WA7GIV) at 15 and was a lifelong member of several HAM groups. He served in the U.S. Air Force, worked at the NV Test Site, was a reservist in the Sherriff Dept/Metro and army warrant officer in the NNGR. He was a 50-year member of the MVPA including the Oasis Chapter. Scott retired after 43 years as a stagehand/sound-man on the Las Vegas Strip. He married Mary Alice Howe October 23, 1965. Survived by wife, Mary; and daughter, Mary Elizabeth Fowler. Preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Shari Harvey (Milt). Services will be at 10 a.m. Sat., Feb. 9, at LDS church, 4340 W Warm Springs Rd, Las Vegas, NV. Luncheon following for friends and family. Graveside service with Honors will be at noon, Tue. Feb. 12, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive, Boulder City, NV.
