Eric Teddlie
TEDDLIE, Eric Eric Arndt Teddlie, 87, passed peacefully in his sleep and joined his beloved wife in heaven on January 6th, 2019. Born in Baltimore, Maryland to Dorothy Arndt and Captain Murphy Foster Teddlie. John Inglis and Dorothy raised Eric with his two step brothers Edwin and John Jr. Eric always lived with a sense of adventure. After attending Cornell University where he achieved a degree in mechanical engineering in 1953, he served the United States as a second lieutenant in the army as a radio operator in a remote location outside of Berlin. He continued to serve in the reserves until 1962. Eric moved to Dallas to work at Collins Radio and received his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at SMU. Working for Collins Radio and Rockwell International he designed radio systems and has several patent applications and patents in his name. Eric married Janet Gay Curtis in 1965 and for 53 years she was the love of his life; enjoying traveling the world and toasting life's adventures.
