Victoria La Beaux Clark Craig Educator in Morris and Plainfield school districts Victoria "Viki" La Beaux Clark Craig died peacefully on December 27, 2018. She was born on February 2, 1947 in New York City to Beatrice La Beaux Clark and Charles Edward Clark of Yonkers, New York, both of whom predeceased her. She grew up in Yonkers, New York, the oldest of four. She married Charles Craig in 1970. Their marriage was blessed by two daughters, Simone Renee and Lauren Michelle, and a granddaughter, Victoria Charleigh. Viki received a B.A. from Hampton Institute, a master's degree from Bowie State in early childhood education, and a master's degree from Kean University in education administration. She was a well-respected and coveted educator in both the Morris and Plainfield School Districts. Viki was a founder and the executive director of Art in the Atrium, Inc., and a recipient of the "Arts Organization of the Year" award from Morris Arts on two separate occasions. She was an active member of Bethel A.M.E. Church in Morristown. Viki was predeceased by her brother, Stephen. She leaves behind her loving husband, Charles; daughters, Simone and Lauren; granddaughter, Victoria Charleigh; sister, Lorraine Schwartz; brother, J. Anthony Clark, and a great number of close friends and relatives. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Art in the Atrium, Inc. Visitation will be Wednesday, Jan. 2, 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be Thursday, Jan.3, 2019, at 11 a.m., all services at Bethel A.M.E. Church, 59 Spring St., Morristown. Interment will be private.
