In memory of
Linda Kuszaj
Linda (Zambron) Kuszaj, of Harrison City, 66, returned home to her Creator Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016. Linda was the loving wife of Larry and the devoted mother of Nathan (Clarissa) Kuszaj and Rachel Kuszaj (fiance, Jordan Raymond). Linda was employed by UPMC Mercy for 45 years and retired in September 2015. Her plans were to travel with Larry and spend winters in Florida. However, God had plans of his own. Linda died peacefully at home surrounded by her family and her best friend, Theo, her goldendoodle. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Zambron and her mother, Betty, who married Jim Ruszkiewicz, after Joe's death. Linda is also survived by her sister, Jean (Ronald) McLaughlin; her sisters-in-law, Romie (Jim) Boland, Judi (Terry) Bielewicz and Lorraine Kirshner; and also eight nieces and nephews. As a member of St. Barbara Parish in Harrison City, she enjoyed volunteering for the festivals and fish frys. As a former member of the choir, she enjoyed singing whenever possible. Her real love was the beach, any beach. Linda's favorite saying was, "The beach fixes everything." For 30 years, her family vacationed in Duck, N.C.; this was the first year she missed. As her children went on their own, Linda and Larry still went there and enjoyed their special private time together. Next month would have marked 41 years of marriage happiness. Friends are welcome from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at PATRICK T. LANIGAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, Turtle Creek/Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave. at James St., Turtle Creek 412-823-9350. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Barbara Church, Harrison City. Linda will then be laid to rest in the St. Joseph Mausoleum.
