Charles Phillip Rogers
Charles Phillip Rogers 85, of Indianapolis, passed away on October 2, 2016. He was born April 27, 1931 to the late Charles and Julia (McClaren) Rogers. Charles served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was a graduate of Butler University. He was retired from American United Life in Indianapolis after many years of service in the advertising industry. Survivors include his daughter, Stephanie Rogers; grandchildren, Gabriella, Stephen, Andrew, Olivia; great grandchildren, Brantley and Sawyer; and sister, Mary Lou Mackell.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Margaret "Peggy" Rogers, and grandson, Brandon Phillip Carrillo, whose middle name was in honor of his granddad Charles. A memorial gathering will be held at the family's home, 6225 Landborough North Drive, Indianapolis, IN, on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Please come join us to celebrate this most honorable man's life and bring with you your best memories of him to share.
