Dick was born on March 6, 1939 and passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2016. Dick was a resident of Anderson, West Virginia at the time of his passing. He was a graduate of Anderson Boysâ High School. He proudly served his country in the US Army. He was married to Vera. A Memorial Service to celebrate and honor the life of Dick Harris will be held on Saturday August 27 2016 at 2 p.m. at Centerville Baptist Church with Rev. Zane Talley officiating. The family will receive friends at a reception in the church fellowship hall following the service. Contributions in memory of Dick may be made to P.A.W.S. Shelter 1320 Hwy. 29 South Anderson SC 29626; or to Hospice of the Upstate 1835 Rogers Road Anderson SC 29621.
