Vernon Davis, 82, passed away on Sunday, April 6th, 2008, at his home. He was born in Ellendale, North Dakota on February 13, 1926. Vernon served his country in the Army from 1952-1956. He moved to Stockton in the 60s and made his living painting homes for over 46 years. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Pamela Ramsey; his parents, Thomas and Josephine Davis; sisters, Cora Davis-Wahl, Pearl Davis-Harrison, Elsie Davis-Juencke; brothers, Charles, Eugene and Donald Davis. Vernon leaves behind his wife, Hermalee; son, William (Katie) Toby; son-in-law, Harvey Ramsey; 8 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and brothers, Warren, Alfred and Dale Davis.
