John Peter DUPLICA
John Peter DUPLICA July 26, 1930 in Seattle; died unexpectedly, February 21, 2011 also in Seattle. Attended St. Margaret's Elementary School and graduated from Seattle Preparatory High School and the University of Notre Dame.He was comptroller of Horton Dennis and Associates Consulting Engineers for over 25 years. Avid Notre Dame football fan throughout his life. He upheld the spirit of a true son of Notre Dame. Predeceased by his parents, Peter and Pearl Duplica, who emigrated from Dubrovnik, Croatia. He was still living in the same home on Queen Anne Hill where he grew up. He is survived by Moya, his loving wife of 52 years; and numerous relatives in Dubrovnik, Croatia. Recitation of the Rosary will be Sunday, February 27th, at 3 PM at: Hoffner Fisher & Harvey Chapel Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, February 28th, at 12:10 PM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 205 2nd Ave. N, Seattle.
