FREDERICK MANN Frederick Ira Mann, 68, passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, at his home in Las Vegas. He was born May 31, 1941, in Albany, N.Y., the son of Robert Mann Sr. and Alexandria Mary (nee Czechowicz) Mann, and moved to Las Vegas in 1982 from Maryland. Frederick was a retired senior scientist and computer programmer for JT3 in Las Vegas. Frederick was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae "Cindi" Mann in 1991; and stepdaughter, Cynthia Gail (Broderick) Earl, wife of Ralph Earl III, in 2002. Frederick is survived by two stepdaughters, Diane Raucher and Gloria Bovee, both of Baker, Calif.; stepson-in-law, Ralph Earl III; stepniece, Cathy Barbagallo, both of Las Vegas; four step-grandchildren; five stepgreat-grandchildren; brother, Robert Mann Jr.; a nephew, Robert Mann III; a niece, Evelyn Johnson; two great-nephews; a great-niece, all of the Burlington, Vermont vicinity; and two first cousins, Catherine Boynton of Brewer, Maine, and Kathleen Mann of Bangor, Maine. Friends are welcome to come to the viewing 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main Street, Las Vegas. There will also be a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at Guardian Angel Cathedral located at 302 Cathedral Way, located on the Strip just north of Encore, in Las Vegas. Interment will be in Mount Pleasant Catholic Cemetery, Bangor, Maine.
