Family-Placed Obituary COLWELL, David L. David L. Colwell, age 57, of Hamilton, died on Tuesday, March 4, 2008, in Franklin County, Indiana. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on March 7, 1950, to Curtis and Mahala (Morris) Colwell. David was a 1968 graduate of Garfield High School and continued his education at Miami University for 2 years. On June 14, 1969, in Kentucky, David married Pam Hornsby. He was a self-employed financial investor. David attended the Hamilton Christian Center where he wrote and arranged music for the band. He was in the U.S. Marine Corp where he was a member of the Marine Corp Band and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. David is survived by his wife of over 38 years, Pam; his parents of Hamilton; two daughters, Tonja Colwell of Fairfield and Barbara Tinker and husband Hugh of Hamilton; three grandchildren, Regan, Rylee and Jaxon Tinker; and one brother, Darrell Colwell of Flat Rock, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Saturday, March 8, 2008, at the Hamilton Christian Center, 1940 Millville Avenue, Hamilton, with Rev. Larry Timmerman officiating. A private interment will follow. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Hamilton Christian Center Music Department. Condolences to the family may be left at www.webb-noonan.com
