Peggy Sue (Peasel) Wehmeyer
Peggy Sue Peasel Wehmeyer, age 49, of Troy, passed away Aug. 26, 2018 at her home in Troy. Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday, Aug. 31, 2018 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Millwood with Fr. Charles Tichacek officiating. Visitation will be held 4 – 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, 2018 at the Bibb-Veach Funeral Home in Silex. Peggy was born Oct. 7, 1968 in Clayton the daughter of Melvin Joseph and Rita Louise Meuth Peasel. On Oct. 7, 2011 in Hawk Point she married Chuck Allen Wehmeyer. He survives. Other survivors include sons Paul Martin of Troy, Jon Martin of Winfield; daughter LeeAnne Martin of Hawk Point; one grandson on the way Vash Kelly; three stepchildren, six step-grandchildren; brother Frank Peasel of Troy; several cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents. Peggy lived most of her life in Silex and graduated from Silex High School. After marriage she moved to Hawk Point and has lived in Troy the last five months. She was a beautician working for many years at Classic Designs and Tanning Spa in Silex and Commercial Apparel in Troy. Peggy enjoyed fishing, gardening, knitting, taking care of animals and going on little adventures with family and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Joey Peasel, Nick Peasel, Donnie Harrell, Crew Hurt, Steve Mudd, and Alex Ashby. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
