LANEY, Patsy Dean The fact that she lit up the room was enough reason to notice her, but her vivacious personality kept you hooked. Pat Laney's loving, caring, and generous nature was felt by all, and she will be greatly missed. Pat was born in Dallas, Texas on January 5, 1942 and grew up in Celina, Texas. She left us on December 20, 2019 in Dallas, Texas. Pat built a successful career in the Dallas area working in technology sales, administration, and marketing communications. She loved every minute of it especially the travel and the lifelong friends she made along the way. Pat dedicated much of her retirement years to the welfare of animals. Her dedication to abused and surrendered animals was evident throughout her life. She volunteered her time to aide and attend to animals in need while opening her home to SPCA shelter overflow. She was an incredible mother, wife, and grandmother. She was always a friend and never forgot the people for whom she had immense love. The loving spirit that was Pat Laney will be long remembered. Pat was preceded death by her father and mother, John and Dorothy Laney of Celina, Texas. Survived by her loving son, Brent Rhea and loving husband William White. Grandchildren Sarah Rhea and Hayden Rhea. Step-children: Craig, Kirk, and Chris Woolheater; Jennifer White, Vance White and Rachel Delgado, and nearly a dozen amazing step-grandchildren. She is deeply beloved, and her memory will live on. Please celebrate her life with a donation to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's disease research in memory of Patsy Dean Laney.
