Mrs. Patricia Ann Couch Day, age 71, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019. She was born on August 17, 1947 in Mobile, Alabama to Turner and Audrey Whitt Couch. Mrs. Day was a resident of Freeport, Florida. She was Christian by faith and a member of the Shoreline Church in Destin, Florida. She graduated from the University of Alabama receiving her Bachelor Degree. She was a founding member of the Krewe De Yak in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. She was a Teacher and a Business Owner having owned Dayco Disposal in Freeport and also owned an Accounting and Bookkeeping Business. Mrs. Day was preceded in death by parents; her husband, Leroy Day, Sr. and one daughter-in-law, Tammy Day. Mrs. Day is survived by her sons, Matthew Jordan Hall and wife Christine and Nathaniel Scott Hall and wife Jessica; daughter, Samantha Lynne Graves and husband Erik; step-son, Bud Day; two step-daughters, Cheryl Sallee and Angela Shaw; brother, Turner J. Couch, Sr. and wife Gaye, sister, Barbara "Babs" Couch and partner Carolyn King; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Celebration of life services will be held at a later date.
