Owewta Holstine & Harold R. Clark, Jr. - - Harold was born in Evansville and died 2-16-19 in Eustis, Florida at the age of 95. Owewta was born in Elnora and died 9-10-19 In Eustis, Florida at the age of 96. After graduating from Bosse H.S., they attended Purdue and Evansville College . They married shortly before Harold left to serve in the Army in WWII. He was with the 10th Mountain Division Ski Troops in Italy earning 3 Bronze Stars. After the war Harold worked in the family business and farmed in Spencer County. Owewta was a homemaker. Both were involved in the school and sports activities of their three children.They enjoyed boating at Lake Barkley. Once Harold piloted his boat from Lake Barkley to Crystal River, Florida.The Clarks moved to Florida in 1976 to assist aging relatives.Later they divided their time between their home in Florida and their farm in Costa Rica. Harold and Owewta were married for 76 years. They are survived by son, Mark Clark (Maxine) Scottsdale, Az, daughter, Courtney Thomas-Botham (Kenneth) Olympia, Wa and son, Bradley Clark (Pamela) Grand Island, Fl. Also surviving are seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A joint service is planned in Florida later this year. The family requests donations be directed to Wounded Warriors Project.
