SFC Tom A. (Ret) Clouse
SFC Clouse was born on September 3, 1953 and passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2019. He grew up in Sturgis and graduated from Sturgis High School in 1972. In August of 1975, Tom began his career with the United States Army at Fort Sill and for the next 20 years, 5 months, and 9 days he served three tours in Germany, one tour in Korea, Fort Lewis, Washington, Fort Bliss, Texas, and was in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait during Desert Storm, returning to Fort Sill, Oklahoma for his final assignment before retiring in January of 1996. Burial with full military honors will be at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, Oklahoma. There will be a special viewing and visitation for family and friends on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at 3401 NW 63rd Street, Suite 200, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73116 or to the Disabled American Veterans at 4704 NW Motif Manor Blvd, Suite 5, Lawton, Oklahoma 73505.
