Maryann was born on September 26, 1939 and passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. She was born exactly 8 years to the day after her older brother, Frank Jr. Maryann - known almost exclusively as 'Cooky' to her Jersey friends - attended and graduated from Holy Rosary High School in Elizabeth, where she was captain of the Holy Rosary girls' basketball team. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM, Monday, October 14, 2019 at St. Thomas More in Coralville, with Father Chuck Adam officiating. Burial services will be held in early November at St. Gertrude's Cemetery in Colonia, New Jersey. She was born exactly 8 years to the day after her older brother, Frank Jr. Maryann - known almost exclusively as 'Cooky' to her Jersey friends - attended and graduated from Holy Rosary High School in Elizabeth, where she was captain of the Holy Rosary girls' basketball team. Maryann and Martin will be laid to rest with Maryann's beloved parents, Frank and Marie, and her brother, Frank Jr. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Regina Foundation or Iowa City Hospice.
