Wayne was born on May 5, 1927 and passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2019. Wayne was a resident of Townville, Pennsylvania at the time of passing. He was a graduate of Shippenville High School, class of 1944. In April of 1945 he joined the US Navy and served on the aircraft carrier USS Kearsarge. Further visitation will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at which time the funeral service will be conducted with Pastor Sam Marchetta of Wesbury United Methodist Community officiating. Interment will be in Kingsley Cemetery. The family asks that memorials may be made to Wesbury United Methodist Community 31 N. Park Ave. Meadville, PA 16335; or to Twelve Apostles Church 358 Euclid Ave. Saegertown, PA 16433; or to Hospice of Crawford County 406 W. Oak St. Titusville, PA 16354.
