John was born on July 24, 1918 and passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2019. John was a resident of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania at the time of passing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wives, Margery (Shaver) Hazy of 35 years, and Anna (Francesconi) Trafalis Hazy of 19 years; and by his brothers Joseph, Steve and James Hazy, and sisters, Margaret Renn and Mary Lomagno. Retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Chief Master Sargent with 29 years of service, John was a WWII veteran who served in Puerto Rico, Panama, Guatemala and Thurleigh, England as a Tail Gunner and Toggalier in both B-17 and B-24 airplanes. There will be no visitation or services. Private burial will be in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
