H. William Palmer
H. William was born on October 3, 1930 and passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2019. H. William was a resident of Gastonia, North Carolina at the time of passing. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he obtained his undergraduate degree in 1952 and a degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence from its law school in 1954. Upon graduation, Bill joined the U.S. Navy to fulfill his military service requirement and served for three years in the Navy JAG as the legal officer for the U.S. Naval Amphibious Base in Little Creek, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Covenant Village Benevolent Fund, 1351 Robinwood Rd., Gastonia, NC 28054 or to The Community Foundation of Gaston County, 1201 E Garrison Blvd, Gastonia, NC 28054.
