James was born on July 16, 1943 and passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019. James was a resident of Bluford, Illinois at the time of passing. A Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Newell Funeral Home at 601 South 42nd Street in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Newell Funeral Home with Reverend Troy Shook officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Rural Jefferson County, Illinois. Memorials may be made to the OakDale Cemetery in Jefferson County, Illinois.
