Birdie was born on August 3, 1931 and passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018. Birdie was a resident of Courtland, Mississippi at the time of passing. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 3pm in the chapel of Dickins Funeral Home in Batesville with Rev. Rex Wilbourn and Rev. Morgan Spencer officiating. Interment will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday in the funeral home from 1:30pm until service time at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
