Jaime Gallo Abundis
Jaime Abundis died unexpectedly at his Freedom home on December 25, 2017. He was 43. Mr. Abundis was born to Pedro Abundis and Maria Gallo in Watsonville on April 12, 1974. He attended local schools and graduated from Aptos High. He worked for Preston Pipeline Inc. for 9 years and helped upgrade the NASA Center, Stanford Hospital and build the 49er's Stadium. He was a happy, friendly, and caring person who loved his family. He liked to cook good meals, dance, and tend to his chickens. He also had a great sense of humor and liked to joke around, but to relax he enjoyed listening to music especially "Rancheras." Jaime Abundis is survived by his father, Pedro Abundis; one brother, and three sisters. He is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Gallo Abundis. (2016) Visitation will be held at Mehl's Colonial Chapel on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 5pm to 9pm with the rosary recited at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Assumption Church on January 3rd Wednesday at 1pm with burial to follow at Pioneer Cemetery.
