John was born on October 1, 1929 and passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017. John was a resident of Peabody, Massachusetts at the time of passing. Raised in Ipswich, Jack was a 1947 graduate of Ipswich High School where he earned letters in football, basketball and baseball. Drafted into the Army during the Korean War, he graduated from OCS and was commissioned a second lieutenant and served in Germany. His funeral Service will be held 11 am Saturday, June 17 in the Ascension Memorial Church, 31 County Street, Ipswich. Burial with Military Honors was private.
