Pat Allred Farrar Funeral Home Farmerville, LA Memorial services for Pat Allred, 72, will be held Monday, March 30, 2015 at 4:00 at Cross Roads Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Freeman officiating. Mr. Allred went to his heavenly home March 27, 2015. Mr. Allred enjoyed playing music, was an accomplished pilot and an avid sports fan. He was a graduate of University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg, MS. where he served as President of Alumni. He was an Administrative consultant of the University of Riyadh in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Mr. Allred was an author of 3 books on the Vietnam War. He loved his wife of 50 years, his family and his country. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam & Nina Worrell Allred; 2 brothers, William Wirt Allred, II and Samuel Worrell Allred. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 50 years, Mary Ruth Jacobs Allred; 2 sons, Andy Allred & wife Lisa of Farmerville and Ian & wife Nikki Allred of Crofton, Maryland; 1 brother, Michael Sylvester Allred of Jackson, MS; 4 Grandchildren, Tim Allred, Matt Allred, Mason Allred and Kyle Allred. Visitation will be at 3:00 til time of service at Cross Roads Baptist Church.
