In memory of
Palma Marie Cenimo Zampa
Palma Marie Cenimo Zampa, beloved wife of Kenneth M. Zampa of West Haven passed away September 23, 2013 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Daughter of the late Nicholas and Carmel Esposito Cenimo. Loving sister of Lorraine Kowalski of West Haven. Palma was President and Co-founder of Zampa Construction. Both she and her husband shared a love of the water as well as animals. A former member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary together with her husband built and finished a boat which bears her name. An outstanding seaman, she often captained the boat commercially fishing with her husband. Palma's giving nature was always displayed with compassion and caring for family as well as others she had met. Her goal in life was to bring smiles to all, many times through a home cooked meal. Her needs were few, her loves were many. She will be greatly missed by all those she touched with her acts of kindness. Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 830 Jones Hill Rd., West Haven Friday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Victory Church at 11:00. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may call THURSDAY from 5:00-8:00 PM.
