Funeral Services for Mrs. Willie Mae Storey Rhoden, 79, will be held Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Bland Funeral Home Chapel at 2 o'clock with burial to follow in Spann Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm. Mrs. Rhoden, a native of Ward, died Sunday, April 28, 2013. She was a daughter of the late Willie Weldon and Cora Mae Rodgers Storey. Mrs. Rhoden was employed at Rock Ridge Nursery in Johnston and was a member of Ward Baptist Church where she served on the Church Council and was a Sunday School Teacher. Survivors include sons: James Rickey Rhoden, Anthony (Nadine) Rhoden, and Kenneth (Brenda) Rhoden; brothers: W. S. Story, and Ted Storey; sisters: Lucy Cook and Mickey Story; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
