Dennis J. Motta, Sr. of Plymouth died peacefully December 9th in his home surrounded by his family. He is the beloved husband of Marilyn (Burton) Motta. Loving father of Lori L. Fratus and her fiancée's Greg Marinos of Plymouth and the late Dennis J. Motta Jr., Loving papa of Alicia and Madison. Also survived by many sister and brother in laws, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Born in Plymouth December 29, 1940 a son of the late Leopold and Bella (Motta) Motta. A graduate of Plymouth High school class of 1959 and served with the US Army as a sergeant during the Vietnam War. Dennis was a Construction Supervisor with Local # 624 Carpenters local. He enjoyed fishing and boating, a former member of the Plymouth Lodge of Elks. Funeral from the Cartmell Funeral Home 150 Court St. Plymouth on Monday at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church Plymouth at 10:00 am. Visiting hours on Sunday from 4-7 pm . Burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery Plymouth.
