In memory of
Mr. James Everett Hinshaw
Jim Hinshaw was born on 12/26/1934 and passed away peacefully on 03/05/2016. Jim was a resident of Placentia, CA at the time of his passing. He was born in Sedan, Kansas. He had a love of family, friends, cooking, animals, fishing, playing bridge and golf. Jim was famous for his delicious fried chicken, mashed potatoes, homemade rolls, apple pie and kind heart. Friends and family were always welcome to share a meal in his home. Even as he grew weaker, he never missed a family gathering and always had a smile on his face. He was a patient and wise man who always had a kind word and helping hand for anyone in need. His passing has left a hole in our hearts and a desire to live life with a positive and caring attitude as his legacy. Jim is survived by his wife Sue Hinshaw, daughters Darla Rebensdorf and Dee Hinshaw, sons-in-law Gary Rebensdorf and Sean Grattan, 5 Grandchildren, Chase Rebensdorf, Danae Rebensdorf, Parker Rebensdorf, Connor Hinshaw-Grattan and Tyler Hinshaw-Grattan and two brothers, Don Hinshaw and Larry Hinshaw. We love you Papa....See you around. Don't worry Dad, we'll make the pies for you.
