Frank P. Savel Jr., age 83, of Avon Lake. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 6, 1937 to Frank Sr. and Susan Savel. Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on April 2, 2021. Frank was a pipe fitter at NASA where he would later go on to retire from. He also served in the Army. He was a member of the Avon Lake Boat Club, long time parishioner of St. Joseph Parish, and Knights of Columbus. Frank is survived by his wife Geraldine; children Karen Michalski (David), Sharon Liszak, Frank M. (Laura), Jean Loeser (Tim) and Steve; grandfather of 11; great-grandfather of 3; brother of Shirley Urbanek. He is preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law Tim Liszak; daughter-in-law Kristina Savel; brother William Savel (Ada). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be forwarded to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601. Funeral Mass will be held at 11am on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 32946 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake, OH 44012. Please meet at church. Friends and family may gather at the Busch Funeral Home, 163 Avon-Belden Road, Avon Lake, OH 44012, from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm on Monday, April 5, 2021.
