James O'Rourke
James O'Rourke, age 90. Husband of Mary (nee Starke) and the late Virginia; brother of Maureen Pelham (deceased) and Bernard; uncle of seven; friend to all. Born in Liverpool England and coming to the United States as an adult, James had a wonderful career in research and development at Union Carbide Parma. James built a 26-foot sailboat and was a member at Cedar Point Marina for over 35 years. He traveled the world with his Mary and always had time for family. James loved having kids come over for a visit and spoiling them. He was blessed with the skills to do almost any project and believed in perfection. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be forwarded to Redeemer Crisis Center 2970 West 30th St. Cleveland, OH 44113 or pay it forward in kindness to others. A musical program will be presented to the residents of Mt. Alverna to honor James and say thank you for two wonderful years of loving care. Private graveside services will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
