In memory of
John B. Nolte Jr
John B. "Jack" Nolte, Jr, age 90. Beloved husband of Jeannette D. "Jerry" (nee Cheuvreux) for 66 years; loving father of David A. (Debbie Lewis), Barbara Nolte Carmel (Donn) and Gail Woodruff (Willie); dearest grandfather of Allyson Franks (Keith), Bryan Carmel (Kaitlin), Christopher Carmel (Brie Feilmeier), Daniel Traci, Kristin Traci, Samuel Traci, Peter Traci, William Woodruff (Rachel) and Benjamin Woodruff (Lacey); great grandfather of Isabella, Logan, Lilly, Kelsey, Holland and Everett; cherished brother of the late Virginia Nolte Schwarz Temple; uncle and great uncle of many.
John was a U.S. Army Korean Conflict Veteran.
"Jack" as many knew him, was a skilled Chemical Engineer with well known petroleum companies including Sinclair, Sohio and BP from which he retired.
Friends and family knew Jack best as a Master Gardener or an Avid Bird Watcher.
They might also remember his "enthusiastic" political views.
With his gardening expertise and his beloved wife "Jerry's" complementary skills, together they were counted on to build gardens and pathways through the church cemetery and property back home in Pennsylvania.
Jack passed away early on Friday morning September 20, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at Christ Church Westshore (at Anchor Church), 32607 Electric Blvd., Avon Lake, OH 44012 at 11 a.m. On Monday, September 30th.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be forwarded to the charity of your choice or to the Democratic Party (https://secure.actblue.com/donate/loraincounty) in memory of John B. Nolte, Jr.
Jack will be laid to rest among the beautiful church cemetery gardens in Pennsylvania that he and his lovely Jerry so devotedly helped to design and take care of.
St. Francis-In-The-Fields Episcopal Church 689 Sugartown Rd., Malvern, PA. 19355
