During WW II, she worked as "Rosie the Riveter" at the Cleveland Tank Plant. Survived by her children, Patricia Kerley, Barbara Silvers, Robert "Jim" Dore, and Jack C. Palur (Joyce); many grandchildren. Preceded in death by husbands Glen Chambers & John Palur; sisters Gertrude Flood & Mary Crowell; brothers Don & Noble Schofield; parents Carl & Alice Schofield.
