Max R. Cronk, age 65, of Shirley, Indiana, passed Friday, March 29, 2019 at Community Hospital in Anderson, Indiana. Max was born March 6, 1954 in New Castle, Indiana to Robert E. and Burchy F. Cronk. He worked at Detroit Steel in Morristown for 28 years, then General Motors 10 years until his retirement. One of Max's hobbies were collecting Hot Wheels over the years. Max is a graduate of Eastern Hancock High School. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Burchy F. (Rice) Cronk, sister Sherri Ledford. Survivors include son; Robert Cronk of Shirley, brother; Jack Cronk of Shirley; several nieces and nephews and dear friend Peggy Bertram. Visitation will be Saturday, April 6, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until the service at 1:00 p.m. at Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Services and Crematory. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery, Knightstown, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN. 38101-9908
