David "Jake" Scott, 60, of North Olmsted, formerly of Sheffield Lake passed away unexpectedly. He was born March 7, 1958 in Buffalo, NY to the late Albert and Rita (nee Skompinski) Scott. David was an amazing and compassionate person, always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was a graduate of Brookside High School, class of 1976. A dedicated employee at ScrapCom, he enjoyed working as an operations manager for many years. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle; a friend to everyone he met. He leaves behind his daughter Kimberly Stewart (Shawn); grandchildren Jaelyn, Aubree and Nathen; siblings Jim Scott (Lois) and Sandi Richards (Barry); nieces and nephews Michael, Jessica, Brittany, Austin and Zachary.
