Eletta Jane "Jeanne" Blake
Eletta Jane "Jeanne" Blake (nee Walsh), 89, of Grove City, OH, and formerly of Avon, OH and Seminole, FL passed away Thursday June 28, 2018. Jeanne was born May 30, 1929 in Rocky River, OH. Before retiring she was employed in the accounting office at Bendix, Elyria. Jeanne was a member of Avon United Methodist Church and Lake Seminole Presbyterian Church. She loved to travel and loved camping when she was younger, garage sales, and antiques. She was also fond of dogs. Jeanne especially loved being a grandma and great grandma and keeping in touch with friends. Mrs. Blake is survived by her daughter Peggy Stevens (Rick) of Grove City; granddaughters Jennifer Cavey (Mike) and Kelly Stevens and great granddaughters Tessa and Brynn Cavey; her sister in law and close friend Patricia Furnas of Avon and sister in law Pauline Walsh of Richmond Hts.; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Gene in 2003 and her beloved brother James Walsh in 2018. Friends may call at the BUSCH FUNERAL HOME, 32000 Detroit Road, Avon Tuesday July 3 from 11:00am until time of services at 1:00pm. Pastor Micah Holland of Avon United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
