It is with great sadness that the family of Diane Poss, 69, of Sugar Grove, announces her passing on Friday June 15, 2018 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Diane fought a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer for 5 years. She was born April 3, 1949 in Marseilles, IL, the daughter of the late John and Doris Seaborn. Diane was a wonderful wife and a loving mother who enjoyed decorating and garage saling. She was a friend to many who will be remembered by her dynamic personality and laughter. She was the President of Deluxe Steel Inc., a successful, family steel business for over 25 years. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Raymond N. Poss of Sugar Grove, IL; her children, Derek Poss of Aurora, Dana (Robbie Weber) of Sugar Grove and Denise (Ben Michels) of Batavia. She will be forever remembered as Memaw by her 6 grandchildren; Mason, Morgan, McCade, Max, Natalie, and Blake. Additionally, she is survived by her sister Jacqueline S. Allen of Ottawa, IL. Visitation will be held Monday, June 25, 2018, from 4-8 p.m. at The Healy Chapel, 370 Division Dr., Sugar Grove, IL 60554. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. also at The Healy Chapel, Sugar Grove. Interment will take place at Sugar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the American Cancer Society @ www.cancer.org.
