Ms. Sallie Neil Ivey
Ms. Sallie Nell Ivey age 70 of Marianna, FL (Holyneck Community) passed away Monday April 12th at her residence. Sallie Nell Ivey returned to her heavenly home on April 12, 2021, after an extended illness she fought with determination. Her devotion to her family and unwavering faith in the lord gave her strength in these trying times. Sallie Nell was born to the late Callie Balcolm and David "Doc Keys" Lewis on March 15, 1951. She was a lifetime native of Marianna Florida. She was converted at an early age and joined Holyneck Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the choir and many other offices. Sallie Nell was blessed with a large and loving family. She was a funny and witty woman who blessed many hearts and souls with her conversation and care. She attended Jackson County Schools and worked long tenures for Sunland and Texas Instruments of Ft. Walton Beach, FL. Her passions were fishing, sewing, baking, canning, gardening and subsequently homemaking. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son. She leaves to mourn her passing; Her Companion of 20 years: Marvin Helms of Campbellton, FL; Two Sons: Lonza (Charina) Ivey of Loganville, GA and Shawnest "Angelo" Ivey of Marianna, FL. Five Sisters: Barbara Flurima of Cocoa FL, Caretha Pinkard of Campbelton, FL, Gladys W of Deston, FL, Carolyn Washington of Tampa FL, Jackie Johnson of Campbelton, FL; Six Aunts: Easter Mae Calhoun (Robert) of Greenwood, FL, Mary and Ollie Balcom of Tallahassee, FL, Lola B. and Vera Mae Brown of Bradenton, FL, Alice (Tommie) Barnes and Beatrice Thomas of Nashville, TN; Thirteen Grandchildren: Kiyara, Shawn, Jeremiah, Dante, Jayla, Azarhia, Keegan, Kali, Kayden Ivey, Breonna, Alona, Calvin and Aaliyah; One Great-Grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
