In memory of
Elaine W. Plinske, age 93, of Bull Valley IL, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020.
Born on January 14, 1927, the daughter of Edward and Astrid Roth. Elaine married the love of her life Clifford Plinske on October 20,1945 in Chicago IL.
Elaine graduated from Foreman High School. For many years she was a secretary/bookkeeper for her husband's business SEA Machine Service. She was a long time member of Bethany Lutheran Church and a member of WELCA, and Sons of Norway. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, knitting scarves for her loved ones, and most of all spending time with her family.
Elaine is survived by her children Sue (Jim) Tobin of Lake Zurich and Audrey (Tom) Doepker of Bull Valley; her grandchildren Amy (Brad) Trotter, Tom (Kerisa) Doepker, Heather (Chris) Helms, Laura (Kevin) Eaton, Jim (Michelle) Tobin and William Doepker; as well as her great grandchildren Leeland Doepker and Leyton Doepker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Clifford; her parents Edward and Astrid Roth; her in-laws Adolph and Mae Plinske; her sister Audrey Olsen and her brothers-in-law Stanley Olsen, Norman Plinske, and Ronald Plinske.
Visitation will take place on Thursday, November 19, 2020, from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Drive, McHenry, IL followed by the Funeral Service which will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
Due to current restrictions, everyone attending is required to wear a mask and practice safe social distancing protocol while inside of the funeral home. We welcome everyone who would like to attend but ask that you make your visit brief in order to allow for everyone in attendance to be able to have an opportunity to show their support for the family.
