Brendan T. Peterson, age 41, of Wonder Lake, passed away on February 26, 2020 at Northwestern Hospital in Chicago surrounded by his loving family. Brendan was born on January 8, 1979 in Elk Grove Village. On September 28, 2007 he married Sara Wilhelm in Grayslake IL. Brendan worked for Wickstrom Ford in Barrington. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. He was an avid fan of all Chicago sport teams. He played softball for 20 years at Lippold Field in Crystal Lake. Brendan is survived by his loving wife Sara; his son Carter; parents Ken (Laura) Peterson and Jill (Bob) Kesler; brother Cory (Becky) Peterson; sisters Elizabeth and Alissa Peterson; grandparents Robert (Diane) Peterson Sr. Jackie Jester and Larry (Joane) Jester; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Memorial Visitation will take place on Monday, March 2, 2020 from 4pm to 8pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 591 Ridgeview Dr. McHenry IL. Interment will be private. In Lieu of flowers, should friends desire, contributions may be directed to family. Brendan's family will pick the charity of their choice at a later date.
