Kenneth Morton
Kenneth Morton, age 71, of McHenry, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning, January 9, 2020, in McHenry. Ken was born December 15, 1948, in the West Indies, the son of Hubert and Naomi (nee Isaac) Morton. He moved to the United States in the mid 80's and on June 12, 1996, Ken married Bervada Johnson in Woodstock. For over 35 years Ken enjoyed working in the construction field throughout the McHenry and Woodstock areas. He loved cooking but more than anything else, Ken enjoyed talking about his kids and grandkids. Ken is survived by his loving wife, Bervada Morton; children: Dwight, Adonis, Kenneth Jr, Carol, Brandi, Corey, Danielle, Nigel and Grandson Tyrese; 35 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; very special niece, Abby; and best friend, James Hampton. He is further survived by his sisters: Beulah, Marissa, Diana, Shirley, Jean and Ursula. In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his son, Brian and daughter, Ronlynn. In following with Ken's wishes, no services will be held.
