In memory of
Deborah J. Schemmel
Deborah J. Schemmel, age 55, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. She was born May 7, 1964 in Chicago, IL to Ronald (Barbara) and Patricia (Stanaszek) Kotch. On April 10, 1994, she married the love of her life (the late) Robert Schemmel in Las Vegas, NV. Debbie loved her family, she was a devoted Mother, Dabba (Grandma), Daughter, Sister and Friend. She genuinely loved to make people happy, especially her family. She was the true meaning of selfless. To say she will be missed is an understatement. Debbie loved watching and cheering on her daughter Kailey at her many extracurricular activities or taking a boat ride with her son Bobby; she felt at peace when he was driving. She also enjoyed spending hours with her granddaughters doing crafts, playing dress-up and pretend, and overall spoiling them as much as possible. Debbie was very much a go-getter and very business orientated; traits she has passed down to her son. She is survived by her children: Robert (Katie) Loepke, Kailey Schemmel, Robert (Linda) Schemmel, Steven Schemmel; grandchildren: Lexi Loepke, Sammy Schemmel and one on the way. She is further survived by her parent's Ronald (Barbara) and Patricia Kotch; brothers: David Kotch, Daniel Kotch and Michael (Wendy) Kotch. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Schemmel, on December 24, 2011.
