Tracey Scott Masters
Tracey Scott Masters left this world on his own terms on May 19, 2018, at the age of 31. Tracey was living in Montgomery, IL after spending a number of years in both the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and DeKalb, IL after growing up in the Aurora and Plano areas.
He leaves behind a loving mother, Marguerite Armstrong (Weigel); step-father, Mike Armstrong; father, Scott Masters; step-mother, Karole Masters (Proctor); his sister, Audra Kraabel (Masters); brothers, Jacob Kingsley and Mike Armstrong; his two nephews, Ryan and Adam Kraabel as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Dr. William and Jane Weigel; his paternal grandparents, Scott and Felicia Masters and his nephew, Nathan Kraabel.
Tracey loved music, the harder the better, helping to found the band MegaNyra as their lead singer. He loved the outdoors and longed for the mountains. He loved his husky, Keyonie, that he shared with Jenn Shauer. Tracey had a huge heart and was always willing to help however he could. He was fierce in his love and protection of family. He studied psychology at several schools and developed a keen insight and strong opinions.
There will be a visitation for Tracey at The Healy Chapel, 332 W. Downer Place, Aurora, IL from 4-7 P.M. on Friday, May 25, 2018. At 7 P.M., anyone that wants to stay and share stories, grieve and commemorate Tracey's life is more than welcome.
