Norriene Alberta Breitfeller
Norriene Alberta Breitfeller Indio - Norriene Alberta Breitfeller of Indio, CA died peacefully on October 4, 2018 at the age of 90 years in Cathedral City. From the time of her birth in North Hollywood on March 5, 1928 to the time of her death she loved to bless those around her with her cooking, sewing and baking skills. She was an avid golfer enjoying the links at Indian Palms Country Club with her husband and friends. Norriene loved playing the piano which she learned at an early age, playing only by ear without ever learning to read music. She was very active in the local community serving on the board of The United Way of the Desert. One of the greatest joys of her life was being united late in life with 3 of her 6 natural born siblings who she was separated at birth by way of adoption. She was predeceased by her husband of 30 years Stephen Breitfeller(2004) and she is survived by her 4 children; Marlene (Dick) Foulk, Ken Mills, Ron(Debbie) Mills, and Tom ( Karen) Breitfeller , 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Saturday October 27 at 3 PM at the Forest Lawn Mortuary Chapel 69855 Ramon Rd Cathedral City. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The United Way of the Desert at unitedwayofthedesert.org
