Nancy Anne GILBREATH
Nancy Anne GILBREATH Nancy Gilbreath, age 89, of Lake Forest Park, Washington, passed away peacefully at home on April 6, 2012, surrounded by family. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 1922 to Freal and Martha McIntosh, Nancy was raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, and in 1942 graduated from Franklin College where she was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She had a career as a public school teacher and librarian, and enjoyed travel, needlepoint, and volunteering. Nancy had a fun sense of humor and her hobby of entering contests brought the family many prizes including trips to Europe. She was a much loved mother, sister, aunt and friend, and was generous and cared for others in need. Nancy is survived by her daughters, Susan (David) Pascal, and Carole Gilbreath, both of Seattle. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Millard Gilbreath, Jr., and by her sister, Julianna Erskine. At her request, no service will be held. Memorial donations may be sent to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society ( nationalmssociety.org ).
